Lithuanian In-Person Training: Project-Based Learning

Enhancing STEAM Education Through Project-Based Learning

Project partners in Lithuania delivered a comprehensive training program designed to equip educators with the skills to implement effective STEAM education. The program combined theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice to provide a well-rounded learning experience.

Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Focus

A core component of the training was an introduction to Project-Based Learning (PBL). Participants explored the framework and its potential for fostering student engagement and deep learning in STEAM subjects. Interactive activities brought the PBL approach to life, demonstrating its practical applications in the classroom.

To solidify their understanding, participants collaborated on a project to create a visual representation of their project outcomes. This exercise encouraged creativity, teamwork, and communication. To further challenge participants and promote a deeper understanding of the entire project lifecycle, they switched roles within their groups for the final presentation. This innovative approach fostered adaptability and appreciation for different team member responsibilities
