TEAMSTEAM-Developing STEAM Literacy

Objectives

The primary goal of this project is to foster STEAM literacy in school education through a programmatic approach. This involves promoting digital competency in classrooms, providing continuous education to leaders and teachers, and preparing them for the challenges of the 21st century. The project aims to:

  • Equip educational leaders and teachers with comprehensive knowledge and skills.
  • Train teachers using reflective, creative, and collaborative frameworks.
  • Introduce innovative educational methodologies.
  • Shift the mindset of educators towards embracing STEAM literacy.

Implementation

The project will focus on two main activities: planning and dissemination. Key steps include:

  • Conducting numerous online meetings to define the structure and content of training programs for educational leaders and teachers.
  • Identifying the target audience and establishing dissemination channels for the training materials.
  • Organizing reciprocal on-site visits for face-to-face meetings, scheduled over five days.
  • Hosting a transnational conference to share experiences and emphasize the project’s impact.

Results

The expected outcomes of the project include:

  1. Developing a framework to assess the competencies of programmatic leaders.
  2. Creating a STEAM-oriented, collaborative, reflective, and digital skill-building training program for programmatic leaders.
  3. Utilizing an online self-assessment tool to assist and guide school teachers.
  4. Producing a guidebook for educators to document the entire process and recommend best practices.
  5. Strengthening intercultural ties with other EU educational settings by exchanging perspectives.
